If you’re looking for a sunset location… Balcony

After a hot day at the beach or shops, our General Manager Jess picks The Balcony at sunset as her go-to. “The vibe there is always awesome and fun, and it’s the perfect place to go with a group of girlfriends. I especially love their cocktails, and they have a sunset happy hour from 4 ’til 6pm daily”.

Miss Margarita is a walk-ins only Mexican bar and eatery in Byron Bay.

If you’re not one to book in advance… Miss Margarita

Miss Margarita is a Byron institution. It’s casual, colourful and quirky, and always results in a fun night out. Jaimmi has three key tips here:

  1. Go for their Happy Hour
  2. Three words: Lychee Chilli Margarita
  3. Be sure to get the tacos in front of you (particular shout out to the halloumi and snapper tacos)!

Miss Margarita takes walk-ins only; if they’re full when you arrive, pop your name down and they’ll give you a text when your turn’s up.

Food-wise, they do rocking pizzas or if you’re heading there in the morning – go for a breakfast taco!”
